New Zealand Natural Sciences Journal

New Zealand Natural Sciences is produced at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and contains papers documenting research in the earth, life, and environmental sciences of relevance to New Zealand or Antarctica. It continues in sequence from its predecessor, Mauri Ora, which was first published in 1973. Financial and technical support from the School of Biological Sciences is gratefully acknowledged.

NZNS is a completely free, online, open access journal

The editorial comments in Volume 37 (pages i-iv) describe some of the challenges facing New Zealand Natural Sciences (NZNS) moving into the future, but also highlights its valuable contribution to the scientific wealth of our region. There are no subscription fees and both current and archived volumes of NZNS are available with open access online.
